Jonny

Jonny started getting into fights on a regular basis when he was living in Norway House. As a teenager, he joined the military. He served for several years and did a tour in Afghanistan. After his service, he decided to move to Winnipeg to experience new things. He soon met a woman and had a baby boy with her, but his alcoholism was leading him down a dark path of crime. After his sentence, the Veteran Affair’s Canada helped him get treatment at ARC. Just after his one year sobriety anniversary, Jonny and his best friend who met while at ARC, stopped a man from stabbing someone by making a citizen’s arrest. Jonny says he wants to help people who are struggling with mental health and society related issues.
