Jessica Fletcher – Counsellor
Jessica Fletcher has a certificate with honors from Red River College in Applied Counselling, as well as training in Becoming Trauma Informed: Mind/body Approaches to Creating Connection, Mental Health Canada First Aid Course, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, and ASSIST Suicide Prevention. Jessica has been working in the addictions field for 7 years. Jessica started her career in addictions treatment at The Behavioural Health Foundation in Selkirk, MB working with females in a residential treatment program. Jessica worked with The Behavioural Health Foundation for over 5 years and in that time held 3 positions, Support Worker, Intake and Assessment Worker, and Assistant Director.
Jessica took respite in 2014 when she gave birth to her daughter Ayla, then returned to the field. After the relocation of The Behavioural Health Foundation Jessica was happy to get a call from a colleague at Aurora with an offer for employment as Addictions Counsellor, which was graciously accepted.
