Ray’s career has spanned more than 25 years which has brought him extensive experience and a comprehensive background in Addictions, Consulting, Business Development, and Organizational Management.
Ray has served most recently as Vice President for a large national HR firm where he was responsible for all Business Development initiatives and member support in various Human Capital Solutions. Ray is a Certified Addiction Interventionist and before working in the private sector, Ray worked for the Province at the Addictions Foundation of Manitoba between 1990 and 2003. Ray also worked at both the Junior and Pro level of hockey as a Scout evaluating and recruiting players across North America.
In 2001, Ray was presented with an award from the City of Winnipeg Mayor’s Office for Service and Leadership in his Community. In 2015, he was presented an award from the House of Commons for his Community Service work. From 2001 to 2003 Ray was the Spokesperson for the Wayne Gretztky Foundation and from 2010 to 2014, he sat on the Board of Directors for the Native Women’s Transition Centre.
Ray carries the designations of Certified Management Professional (CMP) and Registered Professional Recruiter (RPR) in Human Resource Development and is very passionate about the pursuit of excellence, the importance of hard work and holding fast to your vision.
